OMAA/OML WEBINAR:
YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICE & OHIO'S PUBLIC RECORDS & OPEN MEETINGS ACT

THURSDAY, APRIL 20TH, 10:00AM-11:00AM EST

COST: $100 PER REGISTRANT - REGISTRATION LIMITED TO 50
REGISTRANTS PER SESSION. (There is no CLE credit for these webinars.)

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Since the introduction of the first commercially available mobile phone and personal computers in 1980s, personal and business use of these electronic devices has grown exponentially. With the ability to do more work on our electronic devices comes public officials’ responsibility to remember the requirements of Ohio’s Public Records and Open Meetings Acts. While the law has not kept pace with the technology and the courts have not specifically addressed all the uses of personal electronic devices, this live webinar will explore how the use of electronic devices might cause the unwary to run afoul of the law. The live webinar will also suggest strategies to ensure that public officials and employees are complying with the laws.

PRESENTERS:
