PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Every two years, the Governor and Ohio General Assembly reach agreement on a state of Ohio Capital Budget that includes community projects. Last Ohio General Assembly there were $1.25 B in community project requests and 358 projects were included in the capital budget bill totally $ 156M in spending. The state of Ohio Capital Budget Community Project applications are coming out soon and the budget bill is likely to be introduced in the first part of 2018. Join the Montrose Group to learn how to gain access to project funding for municipal, arts, cultural, sports, social service, health care, infrastructure, workforce and other economic development projects.

David J. Robinson

Robinson, prior to forming the Montrose Group, LLC, worked for a decade managing government relations practices’ in large law firms; as a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives; on the government relations staff of Ameritech Ohio; as Press Secretary for Columbus Mayor Greg Lashutka, and as general counsel of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. David J. Robinson provides economic development planning, public affairs lobbying and corporate site location services.



Joe Stevens

Director, Government Relations
Joe Stevens provides local, state and federal lobbying services as Director of Government Relations for the Montrose Group. Mr. Stevens is a senior level lobbying specialist that served as a corporate government relations executive for several major companies as well as successfully representing companies and trade associations on legislative, regulatory, and procurement matters. Mr. Stevens brings decades of Statehouse experience that began with service in state government and continued on to representing companies on public policy matters before state governments in Ohio, Indiana and other states.
