OMAA/OML SEMINAR: 2019 MUNICIPAL LAW INSTITUTE
The Ohio Municipal Attorneys Association (OMAA) will sponsor a Municipal Law
Institute on Thursday, July 25, and Friday, July 26, at the Marriott Northwest,
5605 Blazer Parkway, in Dublin. (Phone: 614-791-1000).
There will be concurrent civil and criminal sessions on Thursday, July 25, and Friday, July
26. (CLE CREDIT approval for this seminar is pending: July 25 – 6 hours of general CLE
credit, July 26 – 3 1/2 hours of general CLE credit and 2 1/2 hours of attorney conduct CLE
credit)
We are holding a block of sleeping rooms at the Marriott Northwest for the evenings of July
24 & 25 at a rate of $147. Please call the hotel directly to make your reservation. (Hotel
Phone: 614-791-1000) The cut-off date for the sleeping rooms is July 2, 2019.

Important notice re SPEAKER HANDOUTS for the Law Institute:
Attendees will receive a USB FLASH DRIVE the day of the seminar,
in lieu of hard-copy books. You may want to bring your laptops.
NOTE:
On Wednesday, July 24, the OMAA will offer half-day Back to Basics Interactive
Seminars for Village Solicitors, City Attorneys, Law Directors, and Prosecutors.
There will be Back to Basics 101 & Advanced 201 sessions for the civil attorneys
and for the prosecutors. There is a separate registration form for the
Wednesday sessions. (We have applied for 3 hours of general CLE credit for each
of these sessions.)
