OMAA SEMINAR: 2016 MUNICIPAL LAW INSTITUTE

The Ohio Municipal Attorneys Association (OMAA) will sponsor a Municipal Law Institute on Thursday, July 28, and Friday, July 29, at the Marriott Northwest, 5605 Blazer Parkway, in Dublin. (Phone: 614­791­1000).

There will be concurrent civil and criminal sessions on Thursday, July 28, and Friday, July 29. (Approval for CLE credit is pending for this seminar: July 28 – 6 hours of general CLE credit, July 29 – 3 1/2 hours of general CLE credit and 2 1/2 hours of attorney conduct CLE credit)

We are holding a block of sleeping rooms at the Marriott Northwest for the evenings of July 27 & 28 at a rate of $139. Please call the hotel directly to make your reservation. (Hotel Phone: 614­791­1000) The cut­off date for the sleeping rooms is July 6, 2016.

NOTE: On Wednesday, July 27, the OMAA will offer half­day, interactive seminars for new Village Solicitors, City Attorneys, Law Directors or Prosecutors with 5 year’s or less experience. This is a new program, with a separate Cover Letter and Registration form.

Regular Registration Fees

1. Unless Plan 2A or 2B apply, the Registration Fee for the CLE Seminars is $200 each day for OMAA Members only. The fee for Nonmembers is $220 each day.

Discount Plans

2A. If ten or more civil side and/or prosecutors from your municipality attend the same CLE seminars, the Registration Fee is $100 each day, for OMAA members. The fee is $120 each day, for nonmembers. All must attend the same seminar. The freedom to move between civil and criminal sessions is permitted.

2B. If your municipality's population is 60,000 or less and if five or more civil side and/or prosecutors from your municipality attend the same CLE seminar, the Registration Fee is $100 each day attended, for OMAA members. The fee is $120 each day, for nonmembers. All must attend the same seminar. The freedom to move between the civil and criminal sessions is permitted.
