COST: $100 PER REGISTRANT - REGISTRATION LIMITED TO 50 REGISTRANTS PER SESSION. (There is no CLE credit for these webinars.)

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Ohio municipalities have broad authority to address nuisance properties.  These properties generally fall into two categories: 1.) properties with chronic code violations, and 2.) properties with chronic criminal activity.  Chronic code violations include vacant & abandoned housing and occupied housing with substandard living conditions.  Chronic criminal activity includes drug trafficking, prostitution and illegal liquor sales. Nuisance properties can be as small as a single-family home or as large as an apartment complex or hotel.  This webinar will provide effective, and practical, methods to address any type of nuisance property in your municipality.

PRESENTERS:

Steve Dunbar is an Assistant City Attorney in Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein’s office.  Steve is the Section Chief of the City Attorney’s Zone Initiative Team, which works closely with the Division of Police, Code Enforcement, other city departments and community organizations to abate nuisance properties that blight Columbus’s neighborhoods.
