PRESENTERS:
Christiane W. Schmenk, Senior Counsel/Of Counsel, Bricker & Eckler LLP, Columbus: Chris is a member of the firm’s Public Finance group. She has vast public sector experience, having most recently served as director of the Ohio Development Services Agency where she restructured the department after the launch of JobsOhio and was a member of Governor Kasich's cabinet. Before becoming director, she served as chief legal counsel for the department and assisted in the formation and launch of JobsOhio. She has also worked for the Third Frontier Commission, Wendy's International and The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, and is the former mayor of Marysville, Ohio.

Robert F. McCarthy, Associate, Bricker & Eckler LLP, Columbus: Rob McCarthy represents governmental entities, nonprofit organizations and financial institutions in connection with municipal bond transactions. In addition, Rob has extensive experience working with public and private clients in establishing and managing economic development incentives and special purpose districts. Rob provides general counsel representation with respect to various issues of public law, drawing on his prior experience as a law clerk to former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Yvette McGee Brown and as an assistant attorney general and legal advisor to former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray.

However, registrants are encouraged to set up for the webinar in a conference room, with a speaker phone and computer screen, and to invite other city officials to attend.
